What is Motion Control?
Motion control is a film technique that uses computer controlled camera movements to create precise, repeatable camera tracks and movements. This technique allows filmmakers to produce complex scenes with special effects, such as slow motion, time lapse, and perfect synchronization of moving cameras with animated or CGI elements.
Motion control is often used in commercials, cinema, and visual effects to achieve seamless transitions and supernatural-looking camera movements that would be difficult to execute manually. It is basically a camera robot, but in our industry we call it
'motion control rigs"
Where can I use the Motion Control Robot?
Our studio is located in the middle of Kreuzberg, but the robot can easily be loaded into a transporter and used anywhere - we are happy to visit you on set, even on on location shoots!
Which cameras can I use with it?
We offer the arm in a bundle with a PHANTOM VEO4K PL 990S, but we can use almost any camera.
We even shot on film with thr robot numerous times! The maximum load capacity with full functionality is oKG.
How long does it take to set up on location?
We are usually ready for action in under an hour, but it depends a little on the organization on location.

How many people are needed to operate the robot?
The Bolt never comes alone, because we always provide you with at least one experienced operator.
How long does it take to program a camera movement on set?
The Bolt™ Jr+ is fast and we can operate it quickly, which means we usually don't need more than 10 minutes.
However, it strongly depends on the complexity of the camera movement and the action of the talent in front of the camera.
For complex projects, we recommend planning and testing the shots with us in our studio.
